After realizing my low ceiling during the interior design process, I considered forgoing the ceiling fan. But the interior designer encouraged me, saying everyone these days is using ceiling fans for ceilings this high, so I finally installed one! Since the house is all white, I wanted to add a pop of color with the fan. I boldly chose a cherry wood and silver combination that appealed to me for some reason. The more I looked at the sofas, the more I realized they all had very similar designs. I like a recliner and wanted one with silver legs, and Ikea's Söderhamn was the perfect fit.
