If I had to pick the item I've used the most over the years, it would definitely be this Samsung monitor. This monitor is so commonplace and might not seem like a special item to someone who decorates their home, but to me, it's quite special and precious. It was the first item I bought in Today's House in 2021. Back then, I was in graduate school and needed a monitor to connect to because my small laptop screen was too small. And it was on sale! Smart monitors were on sale. At the time, monitors with OTT streaming were a new and novel concept for me, but the price was reasonable, so I hesitated and bought one. And now, it's here in my studio apartment, fulfilling its purpose perfectly. This is the only appliance I brought from my parents' house. When I moved in, I bought a stand separately and assembled it for them, much like a "Samtanbymi" (a Korean term for a "samtanbymi"). The stand itself is supposed to hold the cord, but since my monitor is an older model, the outlet was too thick to fit. 😅 But it was still great. Rather, I can plug it in freely, and most importantly, I finally have a Samtanbymi!! It's perfect for everything. Sometimes it serves as my computer monitor for work, sometimes it serves as my TV during my free time, and it even serves as my playlist. The screen isn't as sharp as some of the newer models, but I actually like the slightly blurry look because it's easier on the eyes.
