Our House Embracing the Mountains Instead of Roads, Episode 5🏡 The Advantages of Our U-Shaped Kitchen! Hide What You Need, Make Life Easier! The reason I absolutely wanted a long island in this house was because it hides the lower part, making it look neater. It can be used as a simple snack table or dining table! To enjoy the view from the island, which is why we turned this house around, we left the back part open for easy legroom! And we filled the front with storage. It wasn't intentional, but my trolley fits perfectly here, and I store dishcloths and tea bags here! I find this much more convenient than a fancy storage box. And since Aunt Rocheong also has it here, it makes it easier to empty and refill water! I've kept all my frequently used items within easy reach, but when guests come over, they're usually at the table, so the back is out of sight! Thanks to the island, it hides the mess and makes life much easier! In fact, there's another raw space in the kitchen that's well hidden and used like this.
