I think I really agonized over decorating the living room! Since I had already decided on the sofa before I even started the interior design, I spent a lot of time thinking about how to make the brown sofa match our home well, and how to create a stylish and sophisticated look! I had been thinking about having a white wood house for a while, but I wanted it to be a bit more modern, so I decided to add a touch of black. Haha. In the meantime, the Jackson Chameleon Cante sofa table kept catching my eye. Haha. I was really hesitant because I had already exceeded my furniture budget, but I made a big decision and bought it thinking, "If not now, when?" I used the sofa table as the main accent and placed a striped rug underneath to create a look where the brown sofa, the black sofa table, and the white home blend together harmoniously. I also added a floor lamp with black accents next to the sofa. Haha. Our sofa table is being used in so many different ways! Here, I enjoy chatting over a cup of coffee, display a vase, and recently, I've even been folding trash bags while watching TV, and placing things on it to take photos haha.
