Dieter Rams Atelier 2, an item I finally bought after much deliberation To be honest, I hesitated for quite a while. You know those unnecessarily expensive items that just keep catching your eye? For me, that was this product. Dieter Rams was a famous chief designer and a figure who had a tremendous influence on Apple's design philosophy. He is the one who coined the phrase "less, but better." This is an item designed by him personally. (TMI: He is still alive.) It was created in 1969. Even though the design is well over 50 years old, I think it fits modern sensibilities even better.
