Everything about the entryway of my home is a taste hotspot that captures atmosphere, style, and space utilization. When you open the front door and step inside, there is a simple display cabinet and a makeshift bench. I needed a chair to comfortably put on my shoes, and placing it like this steals the spotlight as soon as you enter. Best of all, I love that it matches the tone of the house perfectly. I reused the tiles from the floor and bathroom for both the bench and the display cabinet. Doing so saved costs and completed a more unified tone! I think it would be great to keep this in mind when remodeling. And then comes the feast of storage~~ I built the shoe cabinets all the way up with push-up doors. When you take off your shoes and enter, there are shoe cabinets on both sides, and I built a pantry cabinet along the mirrored passageway to maximize space utilization. The simplicity expressed through solid wood and the slatted doors elevate the home's Zen-style mood! I plan to decorate the display cabinets to serve as seasonal accents. In winter, it was the Christmas zone~~ I plan to add an accent to at least one section in the spring as well.
