Instead of anxiously pacing back and forth wishing the air would warm up soon, if you calmly engage in spring-welcoming activities while watching the plum blossoms peek out one by one, the cherry blossoms will soon be in full bloom. The best spring-welcoming activity is, of course, organizing the house! Organizing the closet, the pantry, the bookshelves... It is a mystery why there is always so much to organize, even though I clean every year. The fabrics I had been buying little by little had accumulated to the point where I needed to store quite a few, so I gathered them all up and organized them in baskets.
