From a dull and cramped kitchen to a bright one with ample storage! ⊹ ࣪ ˖ Before & After # 4 ⊹ ࣪ ˖ When I first saw the kitchen in this house, my first thought was, "It's dull and stifling." The kitchen in my previous home was extremely, extremely small, and because there were so many inconveniences, I resolved that my next home would definitely be a house with a large kitchen. This house had a tower-style structure where the kitchen and living room were connected, but the sink and gas stove were recessed deep inside. The kitchen, already tucked away in a corner, looked even darker and more cramped due to the dull colors of the base cabinets and countertop. It was also inconvenient because I couldn't check on the baby at all while doing housework. Furthermore, as I planned to store various appliances and utensils, including a "mamma zone," in the kitchen, I needed significantly more space. So, when designing the kitchen interior, the most important things I considered were: ✨It should look bright + maximize storage + yet not feel cramped!✨ This was the space that gave me the most worry and difficulties during the interior design process, but the result turned out exactly to my liking!
