Our entryway has an L-shaped layout with a 3-panel sliding door installed. The biggest drawback of a 3-panel sliding door is that even when fully opened, the last section remains dead space 🥲. So, I placed an open 3-tier shelf in that space. I put small items I take with me when going out in a rattan basket, and I keep perfume, picture frames, masks, package delivery supplies, and guest slippers there, making it very convenient to use. Also, to make it easier to open the shoe cabinet and change shoes, I laid modular deck tiles across only half of the entryway. Since I no longer have to take off and put on shoes in the entrance that was narrowed by the sliding door, this is something I think I made the best decision right after moving in! (Additionally...
