#일상기록 It’s been a while since I last wrote. I’ve been busy adjusting to various things after moving to the U.S. There are still three or four boxes left that I haven't sorted yet 😂 My house is still a mess, so there’s nowhere to take a picture. It’s not pretty 🥲 ⏬️Photo Caption 1. Evening view. The entrance faces the same direction as in the photo, but there is a glass window in the front door. Insulation and soundproofing are a minus lol I haven't put up a window cover yet and am just living like this lol I’ve developed a hobby of spying on the neighbors whenever I’m bored 🤣 2. Bedroom during my ultra-minimalist days I lived on just a mattress on the floor for a few weeks before my moving boxes arrived via ship. A cordless light I bought at Zara. I brought it back on the plane with me. It was very useful. 3. Temporary dishes All I knew about the US was the familiar IKEA, haha. I managed to get by with a few cheap items I bought, lol. 4. Cordless light purchased at Homegoods It's heavy because it's made of stone. 5. Slippers are a must. I miss the ondol (Korean underfloor heating). Super cute. A great find because winter items were on sale in huge quantities. 6. Backyard There is no fence separating us from the neighbors, haha. Some houses had fences installed, though. If this were my house, I would have installed one right away 🥹. The other day, a neighborhood dog came to my doorstep. #IKEA
