Hello! This is Jiryongku! Today, I’d like to introduce the entryway interior that garnered over 1.9 million views on Instagram! Just like the other spaces, I completely wrapped it in white tones! First, Ceramic Accent Installation I decorated the bench area using the same ceramic material used for the island! So that from the moment you step inside, you’ll think, "This is the focal point of the house!" Second, One-to-One Installation of Flooring and Stepping Stones And to match the line of the middle door, I installed the stepping stones and flooring in a one-to-one ratio without any height difference. Usually, when different finishing materials like tile and flooring meet, a metal divider is used for the finish. But since that metal looks so unsightly, I made sure to install them in a one-to-one ratio! I doubt there isn't a house these days that doesn't do its interior design like this, haha. Third, Transparent Glass Middle Door For homes with cats, a middle door is practically a must! Because you never know when or how someone might run out, and you can leave as soon as the front door opens. I chose a glass door for the middle door because I wanted a clean look without any dividing lines while still maintaining a sense of openness! Since it is a 4-Bay structure anyway, privacy wasn't an issue at all! Fourth, Full-length Mirror Installation & Side Indirect Lighting Filling an entire wall with only ceramic would have been too expensive and looked too flashy, so I installed a functional full-length mirror in the middle and added indirect lighting on both sides to ensure sufficient illumination in the entryway and allow you to check your reflection one last time before leaving! Actually, it’s also our home’s photo zone haha. Fifth, Bench Installation I debated whether or not to install a bench because the entryway is small. Since it is just my husband and I living here and we don't have many shoes, we decided to sacrifice a shoe cabinet and put in a bench instead. It is a feature I am extremely satisfied with! Not only can we sit down to put on our shoes, but it is also great because we can use it as a space to temporarily place bags or luggage! Sixth, Installation of a Garment Care Appliance (Air Dresser) I actually got 1.9 million views on Instagram with this post. I heard so many compliments saying how great the idea was! Also, since we have three cats, the moment they come inside wearing winter coats, they are bound to end up in an irreversible state. When guests visit, we store their coats here and even take care of them; they leave satisfied, saying how wonderful the scent is!
