Since it is foldable, I can take it out only when needed and fold it up when not in use, so it takes up almost no space and is not a burden at all. It isn't too soft and feels like it provides firm support, so I find it comfortable to use whether sitting or lying down. It is also much more comfortable than the floor when playing with my child, so it was great to use as a play mat. It is good for taking a short break or lying down, and it is versatile enough to use for guests as well.
