숏앤롱's post

#현관의모든것 #콘수프필름 I find myself thinking that I am a terribly lazy person. Lately, I am in the top of the slump. I have been late in returning visits, and I think I need to take a break now that I am writing this. I will catch up on the backlog of visits while I rest. I expect that I will likely not be posting any more entries. So, for a while, even if I visit your blogs, you do not need to visit me back. Haha. Actually, I didn't really want to reveal the front of my entrance, but I wanted to post this to express my gratitude to the friends who visit my blogs with such sincerity. However, since a simple greeting wouldn't suffice, I decided to post about "Everything About the Entrance." Thank you to all the friends I feel such affection for, even though I have never met you in person. Now, let's get to the main point and explain the entrance. When you open the front door and enter, you first encounter the Temba board wall in the vestibule and the butterfly painting by Gerstein hanging on the wall. I love Gerstein's work, but it was sooooo expensive that I made a big decision to buy it during a sale. A surprising amount of light streams in through the lattice door in the entrance hall. I wanted to hang a painting, but I hesitated because I was worried it might fade. I decided to place a piece by Gerstein because it seemed like it would discolor less. It signifies a welcome to everyone entering. The front door was originally beige, but since I like deep blue, I painted only the inside. I love the sound of bells, so I hung up all the ones I received as gifts. In this era of fine dust warnings, I hung my mask on a Daiso magnetic hook for myself, as I tend to be forgetful. Where the arch wall used to be is where the middle door was, but I moved the middle door further inside to make the entrance hall look a bit more spacious. The shoe cabinet was cherry-colored, so I changed everything to white, but the inside is so poorly organized that I can't bring myself to show it. Haha. I put a mirror in the center and added a small bench so I can sit down to put on my shoes or organize my belongings. There is also storage underneath the bench. I installed lighting under the cabinet as well so I can see the shoes stored there. Except for the shoes I wear immediately, I keep almost everything inside the shoe cabinet. I try to keep the entrance area tidy by storing a few pairs I wear alternately and slippers in the space underneath. Since the floor and walls are all finished with porcelain tiles, I added a contrast by painting the arch and the walls of the vestibule white. For the middle door, I chose a simple design using steel and glass. The artwork visible through the middle door reflects my husband's taste. To the left of the door are the study and bathroom used by my husband, while to the right are the dressing room and living room. That concludes my introduction to the entrance of my home. I hope you all stay healthy and have a happy spring. Thank you. I will come to say hello when I get back.
