💙 Interior Know-how 1 - The Secret of Our Home 💙 "Won't that lower the value of your home?" This was the feedback we received the moment we suggested using vinyl flooring ahead of our interior renovation. Nevertheless, after much deliberation, our family decided to cover the entire house with vinyl. The reason for this choice was none other than our children. We believed that vinyl was the flooring material that would be less noisy when the kids accidentally stomped or dropped things. And what were the results? ✔️ (Excellent Soundproofing) Since we selected the thickest model available at the time of installation, it is definitely less noisy when the children walk hard or drop objects, just as expected. ✔️ (Design that Looks Like Porcelain Tile) We chose a porcelain tile design. It looks even more like porcelain tile now that it is laid throughout the house than it did when we saw the small-sized samples before installation. Guests visiting our home are always surprised when we tell them it is vinyl flooring. ✔️ (Soft feel) Since it is a thick vinyl flooring, my ankles and knees definitely hurt less even when I spend the whole day on it. ✔️ (Insulation) It is warmer in the winter compared to when the floor was solid wood or laminate. ✔️ (Easy maintenance) You can use it without worrying about damaging the surface; you can vacuum and thoroughly clean it with a steam cleaner that emits hot steam. As I use it, I realize there are so many advantages to vinyl flooring. The only downside is that if you leave heavy furniture in one spot for a long time, marks will appear in that area.
