I like things simple ฅ՞ ❛‿˂̵ ՞ ✧*｡ I wanted a flat finish for our hallway, so I matched the tones from the middle door to the walls and door, and set the lighting so it wasn't too bright. When someone comes in, the light at the end of the hallway welcomes them with a soft glow, creating a lovely atmosphere :) I originally didn't want a middle door, but I'm glad I did. Having a middle door almost perfectly blocks the cold draft coming in from the entrance, and eliminates the risk of the baby escaping outside.
