#InteriorKnowHow I thought 1m wouldn't be enough... First off, I want to clarify that this was purchased with my own money! Our house only has three rooms. One is the bedroom, one is my husband's study, and one is my son's room. So... the living room is mine ;;🫠 Anyway, the living room is the easiest place to set up, and it's my favorite spot, haha. I just want to do the "deskterior" setup that all my Instagram friends are doing. I want to match it with the furniture in the house, and the colors and sizes have to fit. Back in school, I used to say I'd be happy just to get rid of the desk in my room, but now I find myself sitting here thinking I'd be happy if I just had that desk, haha. It would be funny if the desk in the living room was too big, so I thought about 1 meter would be nice... but I was worried it might be too small. After a frantic search, my husband and I chose this desk together. First off, it was exactly the yellow color I wanted💛 I guess you could call it a yellow that isn't too dark, too light, or too bright. At first glance, since it's modular furniture, the materials look the same, but it's actually made of domestic HPL birch plywood and stainless steel. It feels somehow more sturdy? My favorite blue cabinet looked a bit bare, so I wanted to get a matching one. I didn't want the exact same color, but for some reason, I really wanted to bring in a yellow one. Hehe. 💙💛 If I used white, it would look like a blue team vs. white team match... ;; I think it would look super cute as a vanity later on, right?
