#카레 #돈까스카레 Today is curry. I opened my gallery app to organize photos, and it showed me some old pictures under the heading "Memories." It was a photo of curry topped with ball katsu that I had eaten out sometime ago. I was wondering what to cook, and seeing that made me decide to have curry. I picked out some vegetables and searched for ball katsu, but I couldn't find any that were round like meatballs. So, I bought the round minced cutlets (menchi katsu) that were the best option available. Since making soup was a hassle, I didn't cook it separately and made it into a one-bowl meal. Since the katsu was on top, I cut the vegetables into small pieces. I sautéed only the onions in olive oil until they turned brown, then added the carrots and potatoes and mixed them. I immediately poured in water, added the curry paste, and let it simmer, then added a small piece of butter.
