p.19 Sometimes, I felt that indulging in this passion was exactly like writing a book. It was the necessity of completing every single scene and the dedication to every minute detail. And just as one feels it would be okay to die after finishing a piece of writing that took months, it felt as though it wouldn't matter if I were to die once this passion was exhausted to the very end—though I won't attach a precise meaning to the expression "to exhaust"— Perhaps because it was mentioned on Minumsa TV recently, it kept appearing in my algorithm, so I pulled out a book by Annie Ernaux for the first time in a while and skimmed through it. There were many sentences that felt fresh compared to when I read it before.
