This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. With childbirth approaching, one of the things I was most concerned about while preparing baby items was the diaper trash can! I had some reservations about the popular products I used previously, but thanks to a great opportunity, I was able to try the #리캔 silent diaper trash can. I’ll share my vivid review of the experience 🤍 1. Design: The clean white color blends well with the interior, whether placed in the living room or a bedroom, without ruining the decor. I currently have it next to the changing table, but it doesn't look out of place even next to an armchair~ Also, the chrome edge line on the top acts as a focal point and always gives it the feel of a brand-new product! 2. Performance: Odor blocking is key for a diaper trash can! I really like that the dedicated refill bags of Recan come with a scent. The biggest drawback of airtight trash cans is usually having to endure the condensed smell when opening the lid, but thanks to the scent of the bags, the unpleasantness is much less when the door opens. It’s perfect for disposing of diapers 👍 3. Convenience: With a built-in cutter at the bottom, you just tie the bag and cut it right away—that's it! In the past, I used to have to look for scissors separately or find the emptying process itself cumbersome. But with this, I can handle the bags all at once, and since the lid is closed, I don't have to smell the odor while emptying it😆 4. Pros: The soft-closing mechanism of the Recan, where the lid opens slowly and closes slowly when you step on the pedal, is a stroke of genius. The one I used before would slam open the lid as soon as I stepped on it, hitting the back wall. It was noisy, and I had to place it away from the wall to avoid damaging the wallpaper. The Recan is quiet when opening, and I can use it right against the wall with peace of mind, making it great for maximizing space. It shows signs of meticulous consideration from design to user convenience, so I would recommend the Recan to anyone looking for a diaper trash can 🩵
