#콘수프기록집 #인테리어노하우 Are you considering installing a ceiling fan? We also had a lot of 고민 (concerns) about whether or not to install one! The conclusion is that we are glad we installed it, but I’d like to talk about the points of concern my husband and I had〰️ Point of Concern 1. An older building with a not-so-high ceiling There were reviews saying that if you install a ceiling fan without digging a recess, it feels like it might hit your head. So we decided to dig a recess to install it, but then a second concern arose. Point of Concern 2. Deciding on the shape of the recess ceiling and the placement of the ceiling fan The house structure is a single rectangular shape without a clear separation between the living room and kitchen, but I was of the opinion that I wanted a sense of distinction between the living room and kitchen! So I thought we could separate the living room and kitchen spaces with a recess ceiling. However, since we had to install a system air conditioner, they said that if we dug a recess and installed a ceiling fan, we would have to dig a narrow rectangular recess, which would make the house look too cramped. They suggested digging a long recess that ran alongside the kitchen. So, they said the ceiling fan would be installed in the middle of the kitchen and living room... I couldn't accept that, so I almost gave up on the ceiling fan. However, they told me that as long as we were okay with it, it would be fine to install it in the middle of the living room without digging a recess, as long as we weren't 190-200 cm tall. So, we proceeded with a flat ceiling for the rest of the system air conditioner without a recess. It doesn't feel like the ceiling will hit our heads, and because there was no recess, the structure actually looks cleaner and more spacious! In conclusion, I'm glad we installed it. These days, it gets hot even with minimal movement during the day, but it stays cool just by opening the door and turning on the ceiling fan!
