In my older apartment, there is an awkward built-in bookshelf in the living room—I'm not sure if the landlord installed it. It's difficult to remove, and I can't just move it around whenever I want, so I was worried about what to do for a while. But now, I've turned it into my own little plant zone and am using it.🌿 I was worried there wouldn't be enough sunlight since it's located deep inside the living room, but after installing a plant light, the plants are growing much better than I expected. Photos 1 and 2 show the light off, and the third one is with it on! (Since three lights are connected by a single wire, I hung them in each section.) I styled the top section naturally with trailing plants, and balanced the middle section with small potted plants. A large rubber tree pot used to be in the bottom right section, but moving it to the veranda has created a dilemma. I am currently thinking about how to fill the empty space at the very bottom.
