I didn't like seeing an unorganized living room immediately upon entering the house, so I installed a partition to cover it up. On one hand, I was worried it might feel like a passageway blocking the way, making it feel stuffy or cumbersome, but once I actually installed it, it didn't feel out of place at all and I was satisfied. It isn't too wide horizontally, and the blind-like design allows light to pass through, so it doesn't feel stifling, which I think played a big part in that. I originally bought it to cover the air conditioner, but it has become an unexpected interior design item.
