Three years ago, when all interiors were dominated by white, I actually went around looking for black products. I stumbled upon a space at a select shop, and it turned out to be an antique art shop. The wood grain of the black antique furniture, and the atmosphere of the deep tones that lingered down to the floor. It was far from the trend, but that’s exactly why I liked it even more, and that space was quite a shock to me. ⸻ I wandered around a lot trying to find products with a similar vibe, but I couldn't easily find one that fit the price point. So I changed my direction. Towards creating an ‘image’ rather than just focusing on the product. ⸻ I chose this bookshelf because its basic structure was sturdy, and by adding adhesive film, I finished it with the black wood look I had been hoping for. Once it was actually completed, my satisfaction level increased even more. ⸻ If you are looking for a sturdy, clean-toned living room TV stand or storage cabinet, you might want to consider this style as well. And if the owner sees this post… I wish you would make just one more black wood product with this kind of vibe.
