Mari | Housekeeping Stories When I organize every nook and cranny of the house, my gloomy mood clears up before I know it. Organizing regularly feels like cleaning my mind as well. Now that I’ve developed some tricks and routines, this task has become incredibly familiar and fast. Yesterday and today, I completely cleaned out the freezer and finished the wet cleaning of the pantry, leaving me feeling light and refreshed after clearing away the dust that had accumulated throughout the winter. Now that I won't be overwhelmed by kitchen chores for a week and just need to take prepared food out of the refrigerator to eat, I can work with a relaxed mind :) @locknlock_korea I gave away the yellow-lidded food containers I used to use, and started using the white-lidded Lock & Lock containers, making the refrigerator look much cleaner and shinier. These glass food containers are highly satisfying, with comfortable lids and stable stacking. I use zipper bags for the freezer drawers, but since frozen food would spill out every time I opened the door in the open space, I decided to try using freezer containers. Before, I wondered if I really needed to manage freezer containers separately, but after using them, I found them neat and convenient to use. At the same time, the volume was drastically reduced, allowing me to store a lot of food. I was amazed to myself. @toyo_sasaki_glass The white food container with markings is a Toyo Sasaki product. It’s a shame they don’t come out with markings anymore. @weckkorea I portion out and store gochujang in very small Weck containers. It’s a lifesaver for my family who loves wraps. It’s just the right size to divide and store it in sauce jars. @todayhouse I also store doenjang and gochujang in neat containers for use.
