I love the time I spend making sandwiches. Choosing the bread and personally selecting and buying the ingredients is one of my favorite routines :) Depending on the combination of ingredients, completely different flavors are created, and even with the same ingredients, the texture and presentation change depending on the bread chosen. I enjoy discovering the subtle differences that come from combining light ingredients on plain bread and richer ingredients on chewy bread. When I make sandwiches, I don't get distracted by worries, and it feels like my daily rhythm naturally settles!
