I bought a Phalaenopsis orchid, and since I heard you can grow it using only sphagnum moss without mixing in other soil or bark, I wrapped it in a huge amount of sphagnum moss and put it in a spare teacup haha. They say it keeps the roots from getting damaged and makes moisture management easy. Sphagnum moss is basically like a type of algae. I bought a 500g bag of New Zealand sphagnum moss from Ozip a while ago, but it was so much that I still haven't even used half of it. Phalaenopsis... they say it blooms with white, delicate flowers.
