I rearranged the living room furniture! Lately, I've been trying different layouts to find the best arrangement for the living room.🧐 Since my apartment is an older model, it has the downside of having an unnecessarily large master bedroom and a narrow living room. When I placed the sofa against the wall, the narrow width of the living room made it feel cramped. Then, I remembered the layout I saw at my accommodation during a trip to Portugal, so I decided to apply it to my home! Instead of placing the sofa against the wall, I positioned it to face the kitchen, and placed a table that doubles as a dining table behind it. By separating the sofa and table areas like this, 📌 (Sofa Area) A space for sitting or lying down comfortably 📌 (Table Area) A space for eating or sitting on a chair The purpose of each space is clearly distinguished, and since I can look out at a relatively wider space when sitting, I think the feeling of confinement has decreased.
