I hadn't bought a separate food waste bin for the kitchen. I work on weekdays, and although I do enjoy cooking, I mostly only do it on weekends, so I don't really produce that much food waste. So, I just used to collect it in a plastic bag and throw it away all at once. But as I kept accumulating it, it started to smell... And I felt a bit shabby when I went to throw it away... So, I finally bought a food waste bin. It doesn't look like a trash can, so I don't hide it anymore; I just place it on the sink counter. It doesn't look messy even when placed there, and it actually looks cleaner. Thanks to the lid and filter, it definitely smells less, and I think I'll be less worried about bugs in the summer. It also has a handle, so it's convenient to carry when I go to throw it away. Now that I throw away food waste immediately, the kitchen feels much cleaner. 😊 I wonder why I didn't buy this sooner...
