There's a mini Don Quijote at Saruga Mart (?) Hahaha I've wanted to go on a trip to Japan ever since I was pregnant... but I still haven't been able to go. I'm someone who thinks "Travel equals shopping"... I went to Saruga Mart for the first time in a while and got that Japan travel vibe! Hahaha I'll introduce the products I always buy and some new items I recently acquired! 1️⃣ Lady White Dishcloth Soap I think I've been using this for over 5 years. It's really great as a laundry soap for washing dishcloths or doing light pre-washes; it just wipes away the stains. It's magic—it even removes kimchi juice stains! 2️⃣ Taisho Quick Care You know how painful mouth sores and stomatitis really are when you get them. If you put this on before you sleep, it heals about 70% by the next day. Seriously. This is an item I always stock up on whenever I think I'm about to run out. 3️⃣ Anpanman Mosquito Patch I bought this based on a friend's recommendation. I heard that if you stick this on mosquito or bug bites, it stops the itching and soothes them immediately. Summer is coming soon, so I plan to put it on my baby right away if they get bitten! 4️⃣ Azona Toothpaste This isn't a Japanese item, but a German one...? The smell of this toothpaste is a bit strange, but it removes tartar so well—like getting a professional cleaning—that it's good to brush your teeth once in a while. I spotted it and grabbed it for the first time in a while! 5️⃣ Portable Soap Case I'm a bath lover. Plus, I love soap, but it's so hard to find a minimalist soap case. I found that super neat, japchae-style soap case, so I grabbed it right away! 6️⃣ Mini Parasol I used to be that "naturalist" japchae who didn't wear sunscreen or a hat... Now I'm stressed out about freckles and blemishes. (Past me, why were you like that?) But actually, I still don't wear makeup and don't really apply sunscreen, so I need to at least use a parasol. I snagged a mini parasol that fits right into a really small mini bag and even has a black coating like blackout fabric. Hahaha. If you have a date in Yeonhui-dong, go to Saruga Mart... and come back having traveled to Japan! Hahaha. #CornSoupRecordBook #현명한소비
