This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. 🔖 Recan Trash Can 21L Ivory This is a Recan trash can in an ivory color with a warm aesthetic. It is a color that matches the interior of my home, which pursues a vintage feel. There is also a design with chrome rims, but I think that would look better in a modern home. With a 21L capacity that fits my small kitchen perfectly, it is very convenient to dispose of food waste immediately. In a small house, this one trash can is actually a sufficient size. If it is too big, it takes too long to fill up, which actually causes odors and is more inconvenient to manage. Since it is the size of a standard 20L garbage bag, it fits perfectly if I empty it once a week, based on my household standards. The Recan trash can has many convenient features. In particular, since it is pedal-operated, a major advantage is that it opens with a light tap of the foot and closes smoothly and automatically. When cooking, touching the trash can with your hands is unhygienic and inconvenient, but it is great that I can easily open it with my foot without having to bend over. I have also tried sensor-type trash cans, but standing In the kitchen area where people pass by, the lid often opens unintentionally just by getting close... so the lid would open at random times, spreading trash can odors, which was really inconvenient. The pedal type is more convenient to use because I only open the lid when I need to. The lid seals securely, blocking odors from inside the trash can, so it really doesn't smell, which is great. Low-cost plastic trash cans tend to have lids that bend or come loose after use, but Recan uses ABS material, making it sturdy. It also has a substantial weight to it, so I think I can use it safely for a long time. They also sent plenty of refills of Recan's dedicated plastic bags. The bags are purple, and they have an easy-cut feature inside the trash can so you can seal the trash easily without getting your hands dirty.
