I really love steamed meat and vegetables, but I rarely make them because taking the steamer out and putting it in is such a hassle. Then I discovered the Wagensteiger Dom Steamer. It only has the steaming plate and lid, so you just place it on top of any pan or pot you have at home, and it transforms into a steamer. It was a whole new world for someone as lazy as me. (They say it's compatible with sizes 24~28cm!) I used to put it on a wok, but since buying this, I've been making steamed vegetables much more often. It's super convenient because I can just wash the vegetables and put them directly on the steaming plate. Abrasive polishing is a must. Honestly, I almost threw the pan while wiping off the polish...🤣 Aside from that, there are no downsides. It really makes a subtle difference that makes cooking so much easier.
