Don't buy new clothes just because you think you have nothing to wear 👀 I used to open my closet and think, "I have nothing to wear..." every day, too. But when I looked closely, I realized it wasn't that I really didn't have any clothes; they had just become clothes I wouldn't reach for because they were pilled, wrinkled, and had ruined shoulder lines.. 🥲 You can bring your existing clothes back to life if you take good care of them haha. I'll share my super simple daily clothes care routine! ✔️ First, let's start by removing lint. Regardless of the season, all clothes develop fine lint. No matter how well you wash and care for them, if you just leave them as they are, they look shabby. So I've tried using automatic lint removers quite a bit. Since they use a method where blades rotate to cut the lint, if done incorrectly, they can cause holes in the clothes, and depending on the fabric, they don't remove lint effectively. However, the lint remover I'm using these days is a type that cleans the lint through friction rather than cutting it, so there is almost no damage. After cleaning, if you use the brush attached to the back of the handle to smooth the grain, it really feels like the clothes come back to life. Just by properly removing the lint, the clothes already look like brand new ones.✨ ✔️ Next, create an environment where you can easily iron your clothes. If your clothes are wrinkled, you end up putting them back in even after taking them out to wear them, right? Haha... So, I've attached hooks to the inside of my closet. If I have wrinkled clothes, I iron them right there on the spot and wear them out. I used to manage this with a regular steam iron, but what I always found lacking was that the iron and the clothes weren't in close contact, so I had to hold them with my hand. I used to do that. But back then, I'd end up spraying steam all over my hands, it was a total mess.😇🔥 Since switching to a vacuum steam iron, ironing has become three times easier. It sucks the clothes right in while spraying steam, so they don't slide back. I don't have to keep pulling with my hands or wear ironing gloves. It's so convenient to be able to lightly smooth them out with just one hand. Hahaha. I've been searching for a vacuum steam iron since last year. With these kinds of things, if the suction power is weak, the vacuum function is practically useless. You really have to compare the suction power and the steam output! I found a vacuum steam iron that has up to three times the suction power and up to twice the steam output of my previous model, and I'm using it really well. If you're curious about this, please leave a comment! I'll send you the link to the lowest price right away. ✔️ Lastly, it's about hanging them properly. No matter how well you remove lint or iron them, if you use the wrong hanger, your knitwear will develop shoulder pads and your t-shirts will get stretched out... lol. That's why I used to always fold my knitwear for storage or wrap it around the hanger to hang it. But I saw a hanger recommended by Joo Woo-jae, so I tried it out. And as expected, a model's pick is different!👏🏻 The hanger has a round shape so the shoulder line doesn't get ruined, and it has an anti-slip coating, so even if you hang thick knitwear, it doesn't sag and hangs perfectly and beautifully. Plus, it's more than half as slim as the hangers I used to use, so it's a plus that you can make much more use of a small closet! Ultimately, just removing lint, smoothing out wrinkles, and hanging them properly can really be worn like new for 10 years.
