Since the alpha room is right next to the entrance, it didn't look very aesthetically pleasing when people came in, and I wanted to add a focal point, so I chose a sliding middle door :) It has a sliding mechanism, making it easy to open and close, and its substantial weight adds a sense of weight to the house.
