The reason is that when I hand down my child's clothes, I often hear people say they look brand new~ Sand play is a must-have during outdoor activities, right?? The problem with sand play is the dirt on the laundry~ I've even heard of some moms around me who say they have to throw away socks because the dirt is so hard to wash off~~ I tried washing them with the laundry soap I've been using since my first child was a baby, just in case, and guess what?! It cleaned them incredibly well?! So I wash my sneakers with this too, really diligently!!! If you pre-wash them by hand before the main wash... they really turn out looking completely brand new!! Aside from these types of stains, for everyday dirt, spray a stain remover on the clothes to pre-wash them, and then wash them with laundry detergent; it makes them look brand new as well. For slightly darker stains, just let them sit for half a day before washing, and the dirt will come off completely! Also, for laundry that gets heavily soiled or has a musty smell, I use washing soda (sodium carbonate). I used to be a huge fan of sodium percarbonate, but I realized the fabrics wore out much faster than I expected. That is how I came across this product; it has such good cleaning power that it can even remove stains from a yellowed pillow, yet it causes minimal fabric damage!! Furthermore, since air drying after washing is the best way to minimize damage to your clothes, I try to air dry them rather than using a dryer whenever possible to keep them looking like new :) If you follow my lead, you can all become laundry masters!!!
