Hello. Do you all have a dream of cooking in a kitchen filled with Pinterest vibes? I love cooking, so I even did some semi-DIY interior decorating to create a beautiful kitchen. I’d like to introduce three items that I cherish in my kitchen that were a huge help in creating that Pinterest-esque feel! First is the IKEA LACK wall shelf. If you remove the upper cabinets, align the hood line with tiles, and install the shelf along the tile line, you can create a clean and aesthetically pleasing kitchen. Since the upper part of the kitchen is finished with plywood, a very heavy shelf would be a burden. I initially bought the IKEA Tørnviken shelf, but it was way too heavy, so I returned it and installed the sleek LACK shelf. It matches the color of the cream white base cabinets, and because it is lightweight, it is sturdy enough to hold my favorite accessories and cups! The second is a bamboo folding plate rack. I tend to have a lot of plates, so I didn't have enough space to store them in my small kitchen, which already has limited base cabinets. However, this foldable plate rack can also hold cups, and since it is easier to move around compared to a dish cabinet, placing it in a corner of the kitchen creates a lovely photo zone while simultaneously allowing you to store countless dishes! The third item is a kitchen rack. I attached an adhesive rack below the shelf to hang frequently used cooking utensils, dishcloths, and gloves. It adds a stylish touch, and because it is adhesive—suitable for both under shelves and on tiles—I was able to install the rack neatly without drilling any holes in the wall.
