I'm going to apply adhesive film to the entire wall behind the sofa. I plan to transform the living room into a space overflowing with vintage vibes. :) I find DIY interior decorating so much fun. I absolutely love vintage. Being in a vintage space feels cozy, and for some reason, it feels like my mind is being healed. 🤍🤎🖤 <A whole week> I spent the past week completely turning the entire house upside down. I ordered two Billy bookshelves and placed them side by side in an L-shape to create a small desk zone in one corner of the living room. I placed the TV in the center and replaced all the power cords. I originally considered placing another Billy bookshelf next to it, but it felt too symmetrical, so I placed a Home in Home Bookstay bookshelf there instead. I also put a shelf with vintage curtains on top of it to create a window-like effect so the space wouldn't feel cramped. Also, on the wall where I moved the sofa, I didn't like the bluish wallpaper that made the house look dreary, so I put up some vintage-style striped adhesive film. After finishing the wallpaper, I placed a retro Costel refrigerator in front of the protruding wall where I had done the DIY wallpapering. I considered placing a stand underneath the refrigerator to position it higher, but to enjoy the sunlight coming through the living room window a little more, I decided to place just the Costel refrigerator so that the height difference with the sofa wouldn't be too large. Today, I only did the DIY filming for this corner space, but I plan to finish the entire wall that serves as the sofa's backdrop this week. Now that I've applied the film, which has a vintage yet white shabby chic feel, the house already feels brighter.
