I also struggled with where to place my cutting board before finally settling on this amazing "levitating" item. Since installation is complete simply by sliding it into the gap of the upper cabinet, it is incredibly useful even in a rented apartment where you don't have to worry about drilling holes or nailing. Holding the cutting board firmly against the upper cabinet right above the counter has not only noticeably reduced my cooking workflow, but if I place it back in the holder immediately after washing, the moisture dries perfectly on its own, completely eliminating any hygiene concerns :) The sturdy wire structure firmly supports even heavy wooden cutting boards without wobbling, so every time I use it, I think, "I really made a great purchase!"
