#AlphaRoomInterior After winning the lottery for the apartment, I agonized over whether to get rid of the alpha room or keep it. In the model house, they removed the alpha room and set up a study in a corner of the living room; it looked much more spacious and nice. However, since my husband uses a desktop computer, I wasn't confident I could keep the cables neatly organized, so I decided to leave the alpha room as it is. 😂 So now, I am using the alpha room as a study space. For the interior, I set a standard to keep it clean and white-toned, so I unified the bookshelf, desk, and chair with Desker products. (The lighting is also a collaboration product between Ilkwang Lighting and Desker 🤭) It is also the only space in our house where we installed blinds instead of curtains. When I measured the dimensions during the pre-inspection, I found that placing two desks that were both 1200mm wide would cause interference with the door. So, I purchased a 1200mm desk for my husband and a 1000mm desk for myself since I use a laptop, matching the width of both to 600mm. I connected five bookshelves based on a width of 600mm, and I think it would have been great to have six if I had just a little more space 🥲 Also, when choosing bookshelves, it is important to check the shelf depth. We had limited options because we needed to fit a printer, but the Desker Deep Storage type is quite wide, so it gets a pass! It also has wiring holes, so it was convenient to use. Also, since wall mounting was required, I had to check the outlet locations in advance, but if you use a flat power strip, you can attach it right up to the wall, making everything look neat, so I recommend buying several of them ☺️ Finally, I included a "before" photo taken during the pre-inspection.
