Before, I used to store containers or simple ingredients there, but I decided to convert it into a dish cabinet. (The very last photo is the before picture!) I installed sliding shelves to make it easy to access items from the back, and I store rice bowls, soup bowls, noodle bowls, and small side dishes on the top shelf, and plates and the kids' lunch trays on the bottom shelf. Sliding shelves are truly a must-have item for the kitchen!!!
