My house has a small kitchen, laundry room, and pantry, but it features an "alpha room" to serve as a substitute. That is why, despite the small floor plan, it ended up having four rooms 😉 While deciding how to decorate the alpha room, I configured a walk-in closet along the wall using built-in storage, and placed a small table and chair in the remaining space so I could do simple work or use my laptop.
