Well, to be precise, we don't have a dining table, only a desk 🙆‍♀️ At first, I naturally thought, 'Shouldn't we buy a nice dining table for our new home?' But... Since I was decorating to fit the house's structure, I realized that even if I bought a pretty, high-quality dining table, it wouldn't look aesthetically pleasing. ✔️ The island storage unit cannot be moved. ✔️ There is a kimchi refrigerator cabinet. ✔️ The living room and kitchen are connected, so blocking it off would make the space feel cramped. Since it is a Jeonse (lease) home, I cannot change the layout as I please. I moved the computer desk from my husband's room out, and am using it as both a dining table and a desk. It saves money and doesn't block off the house's structure in a cramped way.
