#냉장고장잘써보장 The reason my kitchen looks so neat is thanks to the refrigerator cabinet, which allows me to hide various items 🙂 Since my kitchen is L-shaped, there was plenty of space to place the rice cooker on the countertop. However, kitchen appliances are surprisingly large, and leaving just a few out in the open quickly made the space look cluttered. So, when I had the refrigerator cabinet custom-made, I had a cabinet for the rice cooker included as well. At first, I considered making it an open space, but since I wasn't confident I could keep it tidy, I decided on a structure with doors to hide it 😂 When designing the rice cooker cabinet, I worried about whether the doors would interfere with other cabinets when opened, whether the furniture would deform due to the opening, and whether the design would look too cluttered. Based on these criteria, I drew the blueprints myself and handed them over to the contractor. I initially considered using the lower space for other appliances, but prioritizing practicality, I ultimately decided to leave it as ample storage. After using it, I found that having the extra space made it much more practical. Also, regarding the cabinet door above the rice cooker, I debated whether to split it into two to match the height of the adjacent refrigerator, but I am satisfied that it was made as one long door because it looks neat. Lastly, for the upper cabinet above the refrigerator, space is needed between the refrigerator and the cabinet to allow heat to escape. They adjusted the door length to minimize the visible gap, making the finish look much cleaner as well. Also, if you are like me and living in a new home rather than a full renovation, and are having just the refrigerator cabinet custom-made, be sure to check the flooring as well! In our house, the middle partition of the existing refrigerator cabinet didn't have flooring installed.🥲 So, the technician who installed it finished that part with flooring-pattern stickers. However, the color is slightly different from the original flooring, so I’m still living with the blurry view.😂 I think it would be a good idea to get the leftover materials from flooring repairs in advance and use them when building the refrigerator cabinet! To summarize, our refrigerator cabinet is a space that hides the rice cooker and kitchenware, making the kitchen look much more organized.
