I didn't know this, but while looking up the difference between gelato and regular ice cream, I discovered there's a reason why Häagen-Dazs is considered a premium ice cream! Apparently, regular supermarket ice creams inject over 50% air to increase their volume. But Häagen-Dazs uses only about 20%, making it incredibly heavy and dense! To think we've been eating air all this time...🥲 The milk fat content is usually around 10%, but Häagen-Dazs contains over 15%. There's a reason it has to be expensive! Also, they say it doesn't contain artificial flavorings or additives. They use real vanilla beans, strawberries, and high-quality ingredients! Absolutely amazing. I could tell the difference in taste, but I didn't buy it often because it was expensive. Now that I know this, regular supermarket ice cream is worse than not eating it at all. I really love ice cream, and after looking it up with my husband, we ended up heading straight to GS to buy Häagen-Dazs. Hahaha. Yesterday was really tough and tiring, so I was groaning in exhaustion, but this was a happy way to wrap up the day.
