Living in a remodeled 30-year-old house 🏠✨ The second episode features the kitchen and utility room. The biggest dilemma during construction was the refrigerator's placement. Usually, it is neatly flush-mounted, but due to the structure of our house, the angle just didn't work out. After much deliberation, even though it slightly blocks the utility room door, I placed it in its current spot considering the flow of movement and aesthetics. In the end, I think this was the best spot. To be honest, perhaps because the kitchen doesn't get much sunlight, I often feel a bit stifled there for some reason. It's also a space I tend to cover up with things because I don't feel as attached to it. 🫨 However, our house is a famous spot for sunsets, so the fleeting moment around 5 or 6 PM when the sunset light seeps deep into the kitchen is truly beautiful. Even if it isn't perfect, I am gradually filling this kitchen with my own unique warmth. I hope this serves as honest inspiration for those considering remodeling! - ✔️ Construction Highlights • Kitchen: Installation of upper and lower cabinets to maximize storage and placement of wood-toned furniture • Utility Room: Utilized as a laundry room 📍 Next Episode Preview I can't believe bathrooms like this still exist 🥹 I wonder how that night-like bathroom has transformed..!?
