I didn't have a separate mouse pad, so I was using a placemat instead. However, watching my child tap the mouse repeatedly while playing Valorant, I realized this wasn't right, so I finally replaced it. Since it's a glass pad, I initially thought it would just be slippery, but it actually feels like it glides along smoothly, which reduces strain on my wrist. My child is also extremely satisfied, saying they can aim better with it.
