Lately, I've been studying interior design on YouTube in preparation for moving, and there were a lot of brutally honest comments saying that interiors are all the same, that it's just copy-and-paste, all-white... They even said it looks like a house wearing only thermal underwear. 😂 I felt like I was being targeted somehow... It stung, but at the same time, I found myself nodding in agreement. Living in an all-white home, I realized that while it was bright and cheerful, there were times when it felt a bit off and lacked a sense of stability. (Do you agree or disagree? 😖) So I started mixing in black accents little by little, and once the sense of weight was definitely established, the house felt a bit more stable. I guess you could say I want to create a home that is cozier and has a more natural texture this time.
