I wanted to change the atmosphere of my living room a bit lately, so I got a checkerboard rug. The design I chose features a checkerboard pattern that is very popular these days. It isn't too flashy, yet it really stands out as a focal point, making the living room look much more stylish. I was really curious to see how a sky-blue pattern would look with a modern sofa and wood-toned flooring... And indeed, the space looks much more vibrant and spacious. Also, the colors come to life beautifully when the sunlight shines on them, so it makes me feel good every time I look at them!! Daegu is already at the level of "Daefrica" (a portmanteau of Daegu and Africa), so I like it even more because the colors look refreshing. It feels like the atmosphere of the space has completely changed just by changing one rug!! The short pile texture is softer than I expected, so it's great for walking barefoot, and it's also really easy to clean👍 The thickness is just right, so I think it will be suitable for use all year round. Also, the size is 200*300, but it takes up little space when folded. Even though it's usually difficult to wash items of this size at home, the small Kkumim checkerboard rug is compact, so I think washing it will be easy!!!
