There was a time when I wanted to grow every plant in the world. I didn't even realize the limits of my space, and I was busy bringing home whatever looked pretty without thinking. As my collection of plants grew in proportion to my greed, at some point, caring for them became a chore, and the weight of my "plant burnout" grew heavier than the joy that greenery brings. 🥺 It was only after letting go of my desire to do everything well that I realized that there is an optimal temperature that suits me and that I can fully take responsibility for. Now, I count the number of times I make eye contact with my plants rather than the number of plants.
