The amazing transformation of the empty refrigerator cabinet! ✨ This is a making-of video packed with the process of several days into just 24 seconds 👏🏻 From the blueprint design to step-by-step construction, it took more effort than I expected, but seeing the kids read books and fall asleep here, all my fatigue just vanished 😍 I had been staring at the empty refrigerator cabinet for four months because we didn't have a kimchi refrigerator, but then the thought popped into my head: "Why don't I use an arched partition to create a secret hideout for the kids?" So I measured the dimensions, ordered the partition, made a storage platform, crafted soft cushions, and even installed the lighting… My husband and I were praising ourselves, saying the visuals were amazing 🤭🤭 My original plan was to buy two ready-made storage benches, put them inside, and then make a large tabletop to place on top that could cover both benches at once. But my husband said he could make the storage boxes himself 👍🏻. So, we processed PP to make two storage boxes and put lids on top to create a flat platform. (A side hustle after work for a dad who is a genius at his main job haha) I plan to store seasonal items that I don't take out often inside the storage boxes! You can use it without a cushion, but I wanted to make a soft cushion for it, so I bought striped fabric and batting, and used the sewing machine for the first time in a while to make one. For the sponge, I upcycled some Sensmom fabric that I had stored in the warehouse by cutting it up!! (I really worked hard on myself 🤣) I didn't want to connect wires for the wall light either, so I came up with a shortcut: a wireless charging bulb! Haha After purchasing a wall light and a cordless bulb from AliExpress, I installed the wall light in the wall and inserted the cordless bulb 💡 We used two partition walls, but if you have existing dividers in your refrigerator cabinet, you can make this with just one arch wall! Round Round originally has an arched window-style partition wall, but we had the window enlarged significantly during production :) There are height-adjustable feet at the bottom of the partition wall, but since the kids might trip over them while running back and forth, we made baseboards to cover them up, and it looks much neater now 👍🏻 Why do apartments have these darn refrigerator cabinets?🤣 I imagine you're worried about the empty space, but try creating a beautiful space with a custom-made arched partition wall 💕 #LetsMakeGoodUseOfTheRefrigeratorCabinet #RoundRound #셀프인테리어 #아지트만들기 #냉장고장리폼 #냉장고장 #수납벤치 #readingnook #아치가벽 #가벽
