When I first moved in, I thought my kitchen was okay, but the more I looked at it, the more I didn't like it 😭 First off, the apartment layout is just so cliché. The kitchen tiles don't look bad in person, but they just don't come out pretty in photos. To begin with, the kitchen doesn't get much light, so the tiles make the atmosphere even colder 🧊 So, I installed aluminum blinds and tried hanging some indirect lighting I bought from Temu ✨ It seems to have improved just a little bit! If it were an older building, I would have just done the tile work, but since it's a new building and everything is brand new, I feel a bit awkward about it. Just because it's a new house doesn't mean everything is good. I thought I could do whatever I wanted... And I can't just throw away the pantry door I don't like either!
